The Scottish Conservatives have released a dossier detailing 14 resignation matters for Nicola Sturgeon and her inner circle over the handling of sexual misconduct claims against Alex Salmond.
The Sturgeon-Salmond scandal document presents up to 38 Ministerial Code breaches by the First Minister, including more than a dozen times that the Scottish Parliament has been misled.
It goes through all of the SNP Government’s failing from the botched investigation to the disastrous handling of the judicial review and the subsequent attempts to cover up and hide what really happened.
More than £500,000 of taxpayers’ money was lost by the SNP Government when they finally conceded the Alex Salmond judicial review.
All of the accusations in the 27-page dossier are supported by independent evidence within the annex.
Scottish Conservative leader Douglas Ross said: "This dossier shows all the evidence of SNP cover ups, dreadful mistakes and terrible lapses of judgement.
"Sleaze and secrecy is running rampant throughout the ruling party of government.
"Nicola Sturgeon stands accused of breaking the Ministerial Code up to 38 times. The First Minister and her inner circle are facing 14 separate resignation matters.
"The weight of evidence is overwhelming – and this is only what we know about. So much more continues to be hidden by the SNP.
"The First Minister has abused the power of her office and government to cover up what really happened, what she knew and when she knew it."
