Scotland's computer games hub is a perfect example of the growth industry the country needs, Ruth Davidson said on a visit to Dundee today.
The Scottish Conservative leader was at the Tag Games headquarters, where she met staff and tried out new games that were being developed.
She has campaigned consistently for the industry to receive tax breaks, and in October last year a £4 million fund was launched by the UK Government to support the sector following her lobbying.
After the visit, she stressed the importance of industries like the computer games one to boosting Scotland's economy.
Scottish Conservative leader Ruth Davidson said:
"Our games industry is one of Scotland's great success stories, and is exactly the kind of growth industry we need.
"At this election, we are campaigning for a fair deal for job creators - including a freeze in business rates - so that Scotland becomes the best place to build a start-up firm in Europe.
"I wanted to use today's visit to hear what more the Scottish Government can and should do to reach that goal."
